Is it possible to load balance 2 or more ADSL connection using some kind of a router?

If so can same experts point to me to the possible solution hardware or software?

Also will the following application work correctly when load balancing 2 ADSL connetions?

1) FTP
2) File server sharing
3) p2p applications

thanks for the reply Franna.

From those posts i can see that the XiNCOM are the most famous ones.

I have 2 x DL-LB 604's for sale if you're interested. It has 2 x WAN ports (Load Balanced) with NAT and SNMP Management and 4 Lan Ports.
Let me know.

What exactly is a DL-LB 604 if I may ask? Can it also route traffic based on subnet/IP over one of the connections. In other words can it work to route traffic that match local subnets over one connection and the others over the international connection?

The main differentiators- dual WAN ports with the ability to connect up to two Internet connections, the total available bandwidth doubles in capacity
and therefore provides a tremendous increase in network efficiency and user productivity. Dual WAN ports also provide a fast-acting failover response mechanism; if one Internet connection goes down, the other automatically takes control to ensure continuous network uptime.

The DI-LB604 also features the dual Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Network Address Translation (NAT) firewall with Denial of Service (DoS) attack protection to safeguard your network. This helps keep your network reliable and secure while maximizing the productivity of your network clients.
E-mail alerts and a Syslog support ensure that network administrators have the information they need to maintain the network infrastructure. Combine these features with full System Logging, Static DHCP, Access Control List, VPN pass-through, and Network Diagnostic Tools ensures your network is
fully protected from malicious attacks and outside intruders ... blah blah blah...
