I was just reading the thread about the SABC wanting users of monitors to also pay a TV licence. That made me come up with a conspiracy theory about Load Shedding.

We know that numerous of our "elected" officials are corrupt. Just look at the PPE tender fraud during the pandemic. My question "conspiracy theory" about LS is do we know if any politician has shares in companies that sell generators, solar etc? Could they therefore be profiting due to LS?

I have absolutely no evidence of this being so, so you can shoot this theory down, but damn I love a good conspiracy.
