I'm currently running homeassistant with Geyserwise and load shedding schedules.

I have an issue that when load shedding occurs the time slot moves an hour ahead to heat my geyser which is correct,
however it depletes my battery when my house is running on battery .

Is there a solution were by it can do the same but use Eskom for that instance.

Your automation should change the operating mode of the inverter to disable depleting the battery.

In my case, I change the DoD(depth of discharge) to 16% or 0%. DoD at 16%, means the battery will not go lower than a SoC of 84%. Essentially, this ensures most of the time, the geyser use a combination of solar and grid to power it.

i'm not sure if adding it under actions will work
