Howzit, I installed a "load shedding" globe... great, it works...
My issue and I can't find an answer anywhere, when the power goes out, a.k.a. load shedding, the light come on, great, but when I switch the lights off, this globe remains on. I've been told this should turn off when you flip the switch off, it remains on, if I unplug the globe from the socket, then it switches off. Something wrong with the wiring?

Just some info i had the same issue at a friends place he had 2 different light fixtures on the 1 switch a 40watt LED light batten and a standard light bulb fitting with the load shedding globe. So when i disconnected the LED light his load shedding bulb worked like it should switches on and off with the switch.

Thank you for the feedback. With my limited knowledge, I think I understand correctly the other globe is creating some sort of "load" or "short" and the load shedding globe is acting as if there is actually load shedding irrespective of the switch being in the off position. Will affix this globe on its own circuit and see the outcome.

It won't work if it's on its circuit.

I have a chandelier with 4 globes(led). Can I replace one of them with a intelligent loadshedding bulb?
As from my experience, the globe will remain on permanently, that is ok if the lights are never turned off. If you need to turn off the load shedding globe by the light switch, then the globe must be on its own with nothing else connected on the same circuit.
