Load shedding suspended for the weekend

Power utility Eskom has announced that load shedding will be suspended at midnight on Friday.

More accurately, for just over half a day ... which falls on a weekend.

They can't supply uninterrupted energy even if they wanted to. Loadshedding is now a permanent institution and everyone needs to get used to it until the grid collapses. Unfortunately, it will not be saved.
