Our power went off at 11:00 and just came on now again at 13:00. Very weird that a random outage would be precisely 2 hours ...

Exact same thing has happened to me twice already (not today though), and both times it was exactly according to my load shedding schedule and was out for just over 2 hours each time.

Yet no announcement... It's very strange.

Btw, it was at our offices in Brooklyn, whole Brooklyn was down from what I could tell.

Power outages aren't load shedding, Eskom has to announce if they are load shedding.

We were down from 8:00 to 16:00 on Wednesday without any warning. Probably doing maintenance or something.

The conspiracy types will insist it's unofficial loadshedding, even while other suburbs on the same schedule don't lose power.
