Every one wants to get rid of Andre de Ruiter bacause of the Load shedding increase under his leadership. The truth is, all the expertise
(White people) at most of the Eskom Power Stations have left or were fired when the ANC came to power. I also worked at a power station and have some insight of the knowledge and expertise required to maintain and diagnose faults on this type of equipment.
In their place a bunch of inexperienced guys were appointed. Because they lack experience in the maintenance of steam turbine and electrical generators, they have not fixed these machines correctly thus all these machines continue to trip. Bring back the white guys the ANC fired or forced to leave and you might see an improvement down the road.

They should reinstate Koko he was the best engineer.

You fail to realise that the majority of those people no longer live in SA.. They work for the power companies in Australia and New Zealand and no they won't come back, they will tell the ANC to fokof... the goose is cooked.

The damage has already been done. It's too late.
True.
I advised some folks today that we face the same future as in Zimbabwe, either STFU, or rather forego a few rounds of Christmas gifting and spend that money on batteries, solar, generators or inverters.

Just imagine what you can buy if you keep your current vehicle instead of trading it in for a Fortuner to impress the neighbours!
