Load-shedding will be back

Also, Eskom is often running Unit 5 at Kusile, which is non-commercial (test mode), which gives 350-700MW of power depending on the test criteria.

So when Unit 5 is commercial, don't expect the grid to get another 800MW, because it is already benefiting from Unit 5 somewhat.
 
To stop loadshedding was a political decision ahead of the elections. They already tells their voters that they have ended loadshedding. Of course they have to start loadshedding again after the elections. Way too much money, too little poverty, famine and still a strong economy to deal with.
 
If the ANC win then they just get to put the plebs in their place again and carry on. If they lose then they get to accuse the next crowd of having load shedding start on their watch.

A win-win if they can keep the wheels on long enough. :laugh:
