Loaded voucher; data expires in 90min???

I just loaded a R50 voucher (at 22:30) which gave me 500MB data and I received a text message saying my data expires at MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY. Is it midnight as in 90min from now? Why doesn't it last a week from the time I load the voucher?

The promo week is from monday to sunday midnight.
