Loan required - under Debt Review

I mean it could be a serious thing and not trivial. Maybe a medical bill or exactly a life threatening debt collector.... who knows?

Lets be fair, I dont know your circumstances, but as many here said, you are under debt review for a reason. Dont go to load sharks. TrusT me Ive seen first hand on the mines how deep people get into trouble with them... You will never get out of the trap they set. DON'T. DO NOT. Moenie. Ungapheli

More expensive debt will only get you into more trouble. Good luck anyway.

What if we all clubbed in and donated a few spare rands to help out a fellow community member who is clearly desperate?

I am sure he realizes the gravity of being under debt review and he is grasping at any straw to handle a significant challenge.

I cannot condone another loan, but I can only assume that it looks like the only option to OP.

I am suggesting that as a community we try and help break that cycle of debt.

This is assuming of course that it is really an emergency and he is not looking at a luxury purchase or some other frivolous spending....

Lets here from OP how much he needs and what it is for.

It was already answered in another thread a few days ago, he needs money to repair his car, his insurance won't repair it because he didn't have cover at time damage.

We were all noobs at some point, but he has 6 posts in 2 threads, one telling us he did not have insurance when he crashed his car, the second to ask where to get a loan whilst under debt review. All of this in the space of 6 days. Not quite a fellow community member.

Would be quite different if someone set up a collection for Kevin to go study journalism because he does not have the means. He's been here quite a while and can be considered a "fellow forum member".

Are you serious about Kevin? I would love to know how much Kevin would need to study.

You know, that's not a bad idea. We should start a 'support the community' group savings initiative, where we all put in a bit of money every month and then all get the big payout when it's our turn.
