Local area network is not showing help....

help im trying to install http://raspppoe.com/
but my Local area network is not showing and i installed all my drivers..
What it does is show only when my router Ethernet cable is connected when i remove it ,it also disappears..
Anyway when the cable is connected and i right click on the connection and go to properties only the general tab appears the others dont,how can i fix this?

All you need to do is choose "Install" while in the "General" tab. From there, follow the instructions for raspppoe.
