I am relatively happy, for now, to accept the fact that there is a 3GB cap on international bandwidth. International ADSL is so slow I dont think I will ever get that kind of data down the pipe anyway.
However, the fact that local browsing contributes to the 3GB target makes no sense at all to me. Surely they are separate entities and should be treated as such. International bandwidth costs more, which is why we have the cap, so Telkom, at the very least, give us some breathing space locally.
One final thing, if anybody knows - does downloading mail contribute to the 3GB?
