No need to, it downloads from the local akamai server even if you use the link from the microsoft website.

I couldn't get FDM to work - not for the first time, it downloaded something else, in this case a 118K Web page. The URL that FDM uses to download changes from the one mentioned in Stickfigure's reply above to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/. There's some redirect / site translation going on that I don't understand. The download works if I use the normal IE downloader (corporate standard !) but I would prefer to use FDM. If anyone has an suggestions I would be grateful.
