I really want to host a web site locally on ADSL but it would seem that this is not a viable option unless I use a dynamic DNS. This will be a business related site and any problems with the dynamic DNS side of things won't make it worthwhile unless I'm wrong. (the site must be 100% accessable at all times)

On the other hand there is IS that offer static IP's but if I read the forums right then the international speeds are poor which probably won't do or will it?

Telkom does not offer anything static for ADSL or do they? I think there was talk about it.

Any advice or info would really be appreicated.

Thanks

Dude, if it is for your business you can afford a R99 / month hosting account at any of the Small/Medium ISPs.

They can host it on *nix for you, php, mysql, the works.

What more could you want?

(They will even backup your website each night)
