Need more info sir. Do we need whitelisting? Is it a survival server? If so, you need whitelisting.

Please list the mods that you are installing.

Cracked server Survival and Creative. Mods are currently being installed (plugins)
Local server here in SA

Pass...sorry man. With all the work that goes in to building things in minecraft, a cracked server isn't viable. If it needs to be cracked because you can not afford the game, then so be it. Otherwise, you can pay around $5/month for a server.

Its cracked by choice i can set it to official if i want i dont pay for the server its hosted at my house.
i do have the legit official MC but its just that many people here in SA do not have the legitimate MC so they wouldn't be able to join if it was set on official mode
 
The fact its hosted in your house alone will steer me away from the server..... its not expensive to have a server from Creeperhost etc....

Agreed. Especially with loadshedding happening...
 
not only load shedding... for south africa the fastest upload is about 1meg (on a 40meg line) unless you have fiber which is few and far between these days, but getting better. So performance will be terrible. Another thing is whats the specs for the "Server"?

And what happens to the MC world when OP decides not to host it any more.
 
I've tried the home hosting with 4 other friends and that was terrible!!! totally terrible! thats why i pay for a Creeperhost server to host the MC - modded server. If you going to publish it like this, you must do it right.

Cracked also means you can't ban trouble makers.

i play on my own, i dont enjoy playing on public servers because i hate having to worry about people griefing, i play on a server i pay for with a group of friends. Currently the mod pack is FTB - Infinity (cant play vanilla since i came across modded!)

I don't know the mod "FTB - Infinity" will read more on it tonight when I am home.

Is there a public server available where SA people actually play on?

I want to join a server and start building, not much into the whole killing each other etc...

OP,

If you want to host a server, its really best to do it with a provider that has sufficient bandwidth such as

https://billing.minecraftbread.net/cart.php?gid=1 <- this is only Vanilla(Not sure about plugins or mods being able to be installed will have to find out)
and
http://www.creeperhost.net/services.php <- vanilla and modded, but with the modded i suggest taking the Zombie package at least!

They not expensive at all!

WRT creeperhost even tho they are international the ping is brilliant and easily playable! Have a look. Creeperhost also allows you to have multiple games on the same server as long as the server can cope!

klipdrifter if you want to start with modded go with the direwolf20 pack and follow him on youtube or you'll be completely lost.

OP plse don't host an offline/cracked server, MC is not expensive in the slightest and not difficult to get, pay your R300

+1 for creeperhost!
