i second that re the Direwolf pack, he is an amazing youtuber regarding minecraft modded and his pack is well balanced as well, played his pack a lot and loved it everytime!

I tried a few local ones most cracked and found it annoying also some "local" servers are not actually hosted locally.

This is the only place i can think of right now... IRC thats a cracked copy as well but they use some sign in thing

One of the better one in SA but it is also cracked so you get a lot of people coming and going and stuffing around, as you can just create a new user.
yea it is one of the better ones.... thats the issue i had when i was on it was grieving and the map resets are quite often
Yup, and I think the grieving has mostly to do with it being a cracked server so people use different "accounts" so anti grieving is ineffective.
I've been playing with my GF recently (Her first online game) and it has been going well. We're using the ATLauncher. Just google it.
From the Launcher we installed the Yogscast complete pack. You can youtube Yogscast and have a look at their moon quest series. So many awesome things in there and I will be hosting a server soon so that we can play when she's not at my place.
I will post the details when I can so you guys can join in.
For a cracked server. Download Teamspeak and connect to ts.specternetworks.com. Find the minecraft channel in there and you'll see the IP for their cracked server on the right.

. Recalled a server being mentioned but didn't know what it was called. Looks really good. The complete yogscast pack is comprised of hundreds of mods though. I'm not looking forward to server setup.Thats what pulled me back to this thread
Its really simple to do it on Creeperhost.... one click installs for all ATLauncher mods, FTB Mods and Tekkie.... really simple
So who would be keen to play on a hosted server fro mybb guys, I would be just a few guys nothing mayor...
I was thinking of opening up my current server for MyBB members(Not a cracked version though)
It would be voetstoets and no control over griefing or anything like that....
Works for me both my wife and I play... and have valid accounts. I want a server where there are no need for moderators and plots and ****.
