Local Only crawling

Is it just me (based in Kimberley) or is the Local Only offering from MWEB really really sow these days. Newshost takes ages to load, the newsservers are pathetic and even MyBB is taking its time to open up.

Anyone?

Newshost is usually slow, and the newservers are getting hammered more and more these days, I had to wait for over an hour to get a connection

No problems with MyBB tho.

my local only is damn slow... with WA :-/

getting 89kb/s dl but my speedtest shows 3891kb

Yeah, I know that newshost is usually slow. Thats not my problem... it's that everything else is (was) slow as well. Now it's only a matter of the newsserver which is understandable. Newshost and MyBB opening up decently (even though its not as good as usual, atleast I don't have to wait for it like the second coming atleast). TIA I guess...

On Webafrica local-only I've been trying to download from newshost for the past 10 hours..

Only got 10.31MB.
