I have heard that you can pass your local cap and not get charged but on the site they said anyone who local passes there cap will be charged.I have also heard about people passing there cap by huge amounts,I want to know is this true without getting charged.

depends which ISP. Who are you with?

Telkom and M-web have threatened to charge you if you exceed your cap.

dude ... are you an english teacher or something??? ... if you can understand the person please answer them instead of pointing out spelling mistakes ... they can spell as they wish ... it's just childish and stupid to go on about spelling.

now to answer fossil's question:

yep isp's will charge you if you exceed your local bandwidth limit ... telkom charges around R25 ... some isp's charge even more (like mweb which should be a swear word from now on :D )

Okay I will have to stop since I passed my local(10 gigz) by about +-3gigz I had to have Fifa 09 and Doom 3.

haha ... it's up to them whether they want to charge you extra ... so you can still be safe ... so if you like to live dangerously ... go for broke and hope you don't get charged :D

Even with my slow 384kb line I still do a lot of damage. But R25 a gig is not all that bad.

Are you talking about that voucher that is sold at all Engen garage's.I was told it was R70 a gig.
