I am capped and was wondering is there a way to update ipods software with no international bandwidth.I have a ipod i need to repair cause the screen show a triangle and a folder with links to a site at the bottom of the screen,itunes tell me its in recovery mode.
I would just take the battery out but this seems like a painful experience cause i see no screws.......as a laptop repair guy, i need to work with screws i can see

can you not connect a spare cellphone to your PC... and just download that way? How big is this update?

How big,you still asking i mean look how big itunes is with all the frills.I am not a ipod man.I am unsure about how big the software would be to install on a 20gig ipod........my guess is maybe 20megs

seeing that i capped the internet at work means i must use my last of my data bundles

If you got 'em use me... otherwise it is prepaid

make the customer pay man.

Or write to Apple and aks them to send it to you on CD or a couple of stiffies!
