at the end of the day, i didn't know it was "illegal" to ask about torrent sites, so a simple question got a response like this, it's actually quite sad... anyhow, sorry for posting the question...

nah man, you are not the problem. the elitist bastards are the problem. "we are doing things illegally so we must be hush hush about it". that and "you cannot be my friend because you are not a big enough dork".

i asked these same questions (somewhere else perhaps?) and got the same responses. :D typically south african i guess.
