Local upload for patch

Not sure should be about the same. Hope you have been downloading the partial parts. I know that last part is 20mb which I had to get to install the patch, which made up 1.2gb.
 
Last night it was sitting at about 1.5gb for the EU patch.
sadly our clients include foreign language stuff.

Yeah, I have. Have downloaded everything and they checked out 100% :) And wasted alot of bandwidth when Blizz Downloader was giving problems with the last part! :mad:
 
URGH!!! I left the patches at work so now I am stuck and can't play tonight......[whip out big stick and proceed to beat self about the head]
 
It's out already. I downloaded it at 2am this morning and patched quickly before work.
 
Would it be possible for me to get the patches from anyone ? i live in the fourways/north gate area..
 
Hi Guys,

I feel like such an idiot. I can't seem to get this "Installer Tome 2.mpq" file installed. I have the US version. I extract the 2.4.3->3.0.1 patch and copy this extracted "Updates" folders that contains the Installer Tome 2.mpq file to my c:\games\World of Warcraft folder.

I load the launcher and I have checked my options and it is set to "Download after exiting World of Warcraft". So I click the "Play" button and the launcher closes and then loads WoW. I can't log in at this point of course because it tells me my game client is out of date. Then, I immediately exit but the launcher is closed and doesn't check for the file inside the Updates folder and nothing happens.

I would really appreciate some help.

I don't have that file otherwise it wud've been the first thing to try. I aint THAAT stupid!! lol The patch 3.0.1 only has the "Installer Tome 2.mpq" file in it. I downloaded it from the AGASA ftp server which btw, rocks!

Any other suggestions?
 
Balsls man the server is down :World Server is down" is what the game says!!! this sux after a whole afternoon of updating :-(
 
Ok, I managed to find my problem. For those of you running the US version and connecting to the European servers, remember to change your realmlist.wtf back to us.version.worldofwarcraft.com.
 
Ok well I downloaded "Installer Tome 2.mpq" (put in updates folder with its correct folder) and "WoW-3.0.1.8874-to-3.0.2.9056-enGB-patch.exe" (put in wow root and the directory the downloader created) from the agasa ftp site but my problem is when I run "WoW-2.4.3-to-3.0.2-enGB-Win-Final-downloader.exe" (which came from the blizzard downloader) its counts up to 999mb then wants to start downloading. How do i work my way around this so it recognises I got the second part?
 
Hi guys. I bought WoW yesterday (I got the battle chest). :)
Do you really need 4GB of patches to play? :mad: Im runnig it on OSX...

Depends on where in PTA you stay. I can get the patches to you. Then don't install the discs just copy the Directory from the discs to a WoW folder in the programe files, make a Shortcut of the Launcher and bam you can play. You just need to create the account the correct way with your CD keys to get the 30 days free play time.

Let me know. I might be driving to PTA this afternoon to go to my folks.
Or if not you can come to me in Roodepoort, 40 minutes drive from your place and 40 back. 80 minutes to play is alot better than a weekend download ;)

I am in midrand... I might try and make a plan to get the files from you..
I am sick of trying to d/l them and they dont work
