Local Xbox 360 distributer closes down

If they are going into liquidation won't any Xboxes there be attached? I'm glad I hadn't sent mine in yet.
 
YIKES still got my RROD machine though lolz, cud be a real nightmare hey!??

Well I guess the new disti will be between Ster Kinekor, Nu Metro and Megarom.
 
Xbox, what's that? is that the TV Games thingy with the red ring or something?
 
Sounds like a minor glitch out of which some people are trying to make a big deal.
 
We've already seen Futronics go belly up and we still have the Wii. So, it happens. Hopefully the next distributor will be better.

Core aint much better than what Futronic was. Their pricing is absa-fraking-lutely insane.

Heaven help us if it's either one of the former two...

Nu Metro were the people who under-ordered Half-Life 2 all those years ago, claiming, of all things, that some of their stock had suffered water damage in transit to cover up the fact that they under-estimated demand for one of the most anticipated titles at the time. Nu Metro did do ComZtek a favour though when they inherited the marketing manager for games and retail when they took over Vivendi from them.

Ster-Kinekor... well. Play-Station monopoly and pricing. Nothing more needs to be said here.

I'd love to see it be Megarom. They're some of the nicest people around and actually care about the gaming consumer. It's not just big bucks and big business for them.

Even ComZtek, who are still, I think, one of the premier suppliers of Microsoft Business Software, would be a far better choice than the movie-house duopoly. ComZtek has always delivered top-notch service to their resellers.

Independentaly tested 16% failure rate because of this minor glitch even after Microsoft claimed it was fixed, resulting in a lengthy and ffrustrating repair process for many. Microsoft themselves refuse to release any statistics on the true XBOX failure rate.
