So cant get to the site on I.S or SAIX, surely that must point to the web host side ?

Ya, gotta be. I just tested on my work's uncapped IS line, and couldn't load. Axxess must be having issues with their international hosting partner.

I haven't been able to access the website since before the weekend. :(

anybody know how to access the site
or at least know a reason why we cant?

Hi Guys

Well after spending a rediculous amount of money phoning the HOst in the US & phone every service provider in South Africa - a few small ones excluded. I have just been given the runaround " Passing the Buck " I call it..

i have now setup & paid for a secondary backup DNS to see if that will resolve the issue

Sorry Guys !!

There is absolutely no Problem from the Axxess Hosting side !

Thanks for the update ;)

Much appreciated, hope those U.S calls dont cost you too much :(

Is this the IP Address for your webhost ? 64.38.43.218
If it is, then i think DNS is fine as the name resolution is obviously working.

I can telnet to port 80 of your webhost and it responds almost immediately:

mccrack@deskie:~$ time telnet www.xbox-360.co.za 80
Trying 64.38.43.218...
Connected to xbox-360.co.za.
Escape character is '^]'.
^[^]

telnet> quit
Connection closed.

real 0m4.289s
user 0m0.004s
sys 0m0.000s

It's weird because I cant access it from home, but can from work, perhaps a network routing issue ?
Of course, if that isnt the IP of your webhost i quoted above then problem solved ;)

Good luck

Sorry dude, but as of now it's still unavailable :(

Apparently "Error Code 64: Host not available" is something to do with the the http 1.1 handling through a proxy or something. Have you or you host made any changes to the software you're running recently?

Now I get a page from FreeDNS, can't access the site at all now...

Sheesh a week later & that starts working

only after setting up the backup DNS server

anyways i will disable that one

Ok it should be removed from there now

Luke7777 mind checking again for me please

Both with & without proxy

i wonder if its maybe the propogation on the new server thats causing this

site still seems to be down, any idea when it will be working again, has been down for over a week for me.
