Locate/Track phone

I need to locate my Galaxy Tab 7".
I had an app which sent me an sms from the sim that was changed, I have the IMEI number.
The Samsung Dive says the track feature is not supported in this region (Africa i guess).

How can I trace and locate my tab without letting the person who has it know.

I know that the AVG Antivirus that I loaded to my Flyer has a feature where you can track and trace the device.
I downloaded the program to my PC, and it finds the Flyer in a matter of minutes, giving a Google Maps location of the device.
The tracking program will also send an alarm to the device, you can remotely lock it, activate the front camera, and unlcok the device remotely.
The only drawback is that the device must be in use (not in sleep mode) for the features to activate.

Spot on pezulu. However, if the person has changed the google account on the tab then I don't think there is anything you can do now. If it's still using your google account then you can install those apps to the device.

What happened? Did you lose it?

I just tested my SGS2 with Samsung DIVE and it worked 100% .... maybe he switched if off and took the sim out?

Dive works with my Galaxy S2 bt not with the Tab... Different options on the site.

Can MTN or SAPS perhaps help, or at least find out who the number is registrerd to?
