Lock your tripod plate....

A broken foot on one of my Sigma flashes, damaged when friends camera disengaged from tripod and dropped to grass. The Sigma was on it as a master flash and as all the pressure is on the hotshoe connection, it snapped when it landed on the grass (luckily). Looks like it can be replaced though and luckily his 40d and 70-200 f2.8 IS is ok, thankfully it landed on soft grass.

Eina! At least you can still use the flash as a slave.

At least it's a quick fix, the bottom section unscrews. The replacement part should arrive by the end of the week
