hi could someone please help me out.
there is Logik 32" lcd at Game with a 2 year Gaurantee.
It is going for R5000 and this is all i have to spend, what do you think?

Hey Golfnut,

I'd get the model number, then google it, check all the specs, compare it to other good models like sony bravia etc... and also read some reviews.

Also, is it a "lcd tv" and not "lcd rear projector" or "plasma" as those can sometimes be cheaper.

R5k for a 32" lcd tv is a steal, I might just have to snatch me one of those hehe.

I was looking at one of those for my folks for xmas. when I saw it it seemed alright, it's obviously the cheapest out there for what you get. The only reason I didn't get it was because of the size. Next to a 74cm TV, it didn't seem to be that much bigger, granted it's wider but still. So now I am on the hunt for a cheap 37" LCD.

The only other options that I have seen are the Sony and Samsung 32" LCD's. But that are 6999 or so. A fair bit more.

I also saw that one at game:p.I'm also thinking of buying it!It looks alright and the price is gr8!:D I also wonder what you guys think of it.

I also saw the SAISHO at Hi Fi Corporation, which do you think is better the logik or this one?

mmm,
Game selling a Full HD 32 inch Logik with 3 year garuntee for 5500....
3 year garuntee clearly shows some faith in the product, what do you guys think?

A friend of mine got himself a Sony Bravia 32" for R6200 at House and Home... I'm willing to pay R1000 or so more for a Sony :) Hope you find the right buy!

Logik 32 inch a pile of nasty stounding stuff

I bought a 32 inch full HD logik on special at Game (for R5K)

Terrible TV

looks fine with a bright image, but on dull video it looked pathetic with what should be crisp lines appearing as blurred images and overall looking blocky

Pissed me off enough that I took it back under the "Changed you mind" clause

Got myself a Sony 32 inch 720p panel although the tuner is not so good (but hey, the logik one was worse). On both TV's I got a better picture running normal analogue TV through my HDD/DVD recorder upscaling it and outputting it over component video

Am much happier, much crisper even though it is only a 720p panel

it cost R500 more, but hey, you get what you pay for

I was testing both panels at their native resolution (1080p and 720p respectively), along with resolutions the TV had to upscale

Am sure similar results would be found comparing the Logik to a Samsung or some other reasonable make

:eek:DON'T BUY A LOGIK!

The sony was only R500 more? Wtf would anyone bother buying Logick then.
