Hi all
So I went and got me Logitecs Z506 ( I was aiming for the X-540 or 530s but none were in stock with no eta on the next batch )
Anyways I installed it, plugged in the 3 3.5mm jacks as youd expect.
The speakers work fine except for the front right speaker (the one with the volume control and power button)
Whenever there is some sort of low frequency sound in movies or in music, i hear a faint crackle coming from the speaker. It is quite noticable when playing at high volume.
Is this a H/W problem you rate? using normal onboard soundcard. Had 5.1 system before this one and it worked fine.
It sounds like a very high frequency crackle sort of like how pop rocks sound when you put them on your tongue. but more annoying
