So, it's my birthday coming up and I feel like spoiling myself.

Saw one of these and it looked like an adequate birthday indulgence to me.

Anyone else have one? Does it do what it says it does?

I've got an older 655 and love the thing. Enjoy. :)

This is really an awesome device. I have this one (785)... and love it.

I am considering getting the 525 for use by others in my family cos the 785 is DAD's remote (kids and wifey hands off!!)

Happy birthday in advance - go ahead and spoil yourself with the 525 ...

Thanks!

I looked at the more advanced models, but my goodness, they're expensive!

The 525 is R699 at Dion Wired, which is within birthday gift range.

i have the harmony one ... and it is awesome ... only crap with these remotes is that they are just infrared , so you cant run a ps3 of it for example.

What logitech need to do is make a model that does both, IR and Bluetooth. Surely it cant be that hard to do?

When you try to add the ps3 it points you at a link where you can buy an ir to bt converter thingy ... but after paying through your nose for a harmony one its kinda not fun to have to buy something else ... so now i have two remotes ... will maybe someday get them all in one ... *pipedream*

I'm also looking at buying one of these, but have a similar problem with my Bose system remote being RF.

I'll need to look into something like this for RF - got any links?

Wow that really looks awesome......but there would be a lot of fighting for it in my house so won't be getting one of those

Some of the more expensive models (I think 895 and up) have RF. Maybe you can find out if these will work with your bose system.

Had mine (525) for a long time now and i am very happy with it, haven't updated it since getting the Xbox360, must still do that.

i also got a 525 for my bday very cool well worth it just take that time to set it up right...
