Does anyone knows what device name I need to use, to program my remote?
I have a DSTV HD PVR, entering this name on my remote doesn't activate any response from the PVR in the "Watch TV" activity.
I'm using the Harmony 1100.
Any help or link will be appreciated.

Not sure about the 1100 but all I needed to set mine up was an internet connection, my PC and the serial numbers off all my devices. Works like a bomb.

I tried the Pace TDS865IMC and although it accepts it, it doesn't find the button configuration on the database.
It asks me to "teach" each command to the Harmony, which is not the point.
Ideally this should be automatic, like the other devices
Any other ideas?

Many thanks

Model number won't work. I don't remember exactly what I typed, but it was along the lines of DSTV HDPVR. Just try DSTV; it should list all the DSTV decoders, then you just select the correct one.

Hmm, was browsing that database now the other day - am sure it said "Multichoice" not DSTV

Do you use their PC software Logitech Harmony Remote Software 7?

Yep. Logitech Harmony PC version 7.7.0, the latest.
Tried all: Satellite, DSTV, PVR, HD PVR , it finds the PVR on the list however it doesn't recognize the commands
I will have to resort to make the Logitech LEARN all of them, what a pitty.

Just redid mine, Cable/Satellite Box - Satellite - DSTV - HD PVR, works just fine. Using a Harmony 650, don't see why it should matter thought since they all use the same database.
