Hi Guys, my pointer is hardly moving, could the laser be at fault , i'm now using my key pad as a mouse.
Its a RX1000 and i had it since 2009/06/10. Thanks

The RX1000 mouse is the biggest POS mouse that I've ever had. My guess would be that the cable is damaged right where it exits the casing, because that is where 99% of all the cable mice break.
If you fiddle with the cable at that position, you can check if the mouse is sort of working again. If it is working, then you can just replace the cable, but it is definitely not worth it with a cheap (R75) mouse like that!

Rather get a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical for like R120, if you can still get your hands on it... It is the cheapest optical mouse that I know of that you can use for gaming - seeing that it has a 6000fps sensor and not a 1500fps one like the Basic Optical :D
