Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 vs Logitech Anywhere mouse MX

Anybody got any experiences with these mice? The M705 is approx R380 whereas the MX is approx R600. In the US there is only a $10 difference in price

Keen to replace my current microsoft mouse, and am puzzle on which one of these to get. Especially taking the big difference in price here in South Africa.

I can't speak for the MX, but I've been using the M705 for roughly ~2 years of daily office use. Its range is good but It doesn't fare well on glass, Battery life is excellent and the mouse is reliable. That's all I know.

Logitech mention the battery life is approx 3 years on the M705 - whats your experience been?

Battery on my microsoft mouse lasts about 3-4 months max - part reason why i want to change it.

I've never changed them. I've had the mouse for about 3 years, maybe its almost time

I've got the MX Anywhere and it's heavy on batteries (2 x AA) - I use rechargeables and use the mouse all day - they last around 4 weeks - other than that the mouse is nice and tracks on anything I've used
