Yeah yeah weird title..blah blah...anyway. I've decided to play some emulation games etc. again and well err...I feel it would be better with a controller.

I would prefer chilling on my bed (like I did with me old PS2) while playing games but that quite a distance from the nearest usb port. I did look at the wireless version but that's to darn expensive and I don't really want to spend that much on a controller.

So how long is the wire on the Logitech Rumblepad and is the cord connected directly inside the unit or does it plug in. My guess is that the cable is integrated so the actual question would be if I could use a USB A-A extention cable with it.

Anyway, thanks in advance :p

usb cable not supposed to go longer than 5m unless u have a hub in the middle.

just get cordless rumblepad II ? :D

Why would it be longer than 5m? I would guess the integrated cable to be 2m and extention cable to be 3m.

Yeah I know that but will there be a lag on the controller if I extend it (even if it's under 5M)?

From the front USB I used an 5m USB extension cable that went to a 4-port passive D-Link USB hub. From there I plugged in my Rumblepad, mouse, keyboard & occasionally a flash drive without any problems.
