I bought my Z906 speakers at Incredible Connection in 2012 (lost receipts and packages). The console seems to be broken. I did some research and it looks to be a common problem that I have (I can't seem to find the site where it was explained).
Does Logitech have a physical SA office I can visit to see if they can get it fixed? Or will IC fix it for me at a price?

I'm hoping to get them replaced (I believe a few people have got their items replaced by Logitech even though their warranties have expired). :)

Few years ago my friend emailed Logitech UK regarding his Z5500 out of warranty, they sent him a replacement without even any proof of payment. Maybe give that a try.

His issue was also a common issue with the Z5500 where the control panel lights would dim when any button was pressed.

Thank you. I will try that.

Yeah, Logitech have incredible after-sales support... Had an issue with the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.
Sent them a photo of the keyboard, proof of purchase etc.

2 weeks later I received a replacement keyboard, free shipping. Bam.

:wtf: I've had a dead LCD backlight on my Z5500s for years now.

My friend's one was just very dim. Logitech sent him a complete Z5500 set, not just the control unit, so I bought the old set from him for like R500, used it for 3 years before I sold it to someone else, never had any issues with it, except of course the dim light.

Logitech doesn't have a support office in South Africa as far as I know. Also had a problem with my Z5450 and they replaced them for free even though warranty was expired! They also replaced my Logitech MX Revolution because the rubbers underneath the mouse were coming off. Pretty amazing support.

How did you contact them? I registered on the site and sent a message through the site. I haven't received anything yet.

I thought there was an office in Woodmead

Also if you've looong ago lost the proof of purchase?

I called them to be honest. On their International Support phone number. Been a long time now, can't remember the number.

I know some of the people who work in the Logitech ZA office. I'll find out what mail address you guys can use in the future for warranty claims.

Most of the times they will need it. It happened once or twice that they didn't ask for one.

Oivey, cause I've had my z5500 going on almost a decade and I've moved three times. Well actually my dad is using them now, but yeah they are still going strong.
