Logitech X530 5.1 speakers

Hi guys,

I was wondering if these speakers will function normally with an on-board sound card, or should I get an additional one?

So it doesn't matter if the on-board is only 2.1? Will it affect the sound at all?

If the on board is only 2.1 two of the speakers won't work.

Just get a cheap pci sound card.

It won't, you just activate matrix mode and it manipulates the 2 channel sound to 5.1
