Flash it, or have it flashed, with the unbranded firmware.

You lose your warranty though.

Agreed. I know the Vodacom ones boot up with a Vodafone logo, but after that, the only place it mentions it is the carrier name on the home screen - and you can get rid of it by loading a new theme.
