So last year December I drove from the East Rand to god knows where. And drove through 8 or 9 gantries back and forth.
4 months later, no bill. My details also didn't come up on that website check thing they had going for a few weeks. So I drove through them again, cause why the hell should I be inconvenienced, I pay my petrol and taxes and car license.
ANYWAY
So yesterday I open the mail and see a thickish envelope and a Roodepoort address, I google, it's them, and open it for the hell of it. The "offence" was on the 5th of April. The invoice was printed on the 25th, the mail was sent on the 28th, and I only get it yesterday. And get this. It's a CONSOLIDATED invoice and doesn't even show my previous "offence" in December.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it went straight into the garbage.
I'm LOL'ing cause a colleague of mine registered for etolls and now suddenly decided he's not paying any more, and I told him, dude, you signed a piece of paper saying you agree to pay them, tough ****.
Can't wait for no more etolls.
