Don't believe all the hype. Publisher/Dreamweaver is way more powerful than hand-coding all your stuff in the outdated "jquery" library.
As an example, you will notice a distinct lack of visually appealing animated gif's and moving banners on sites powered by these crappy libraries like jquery: http://www.wopata.com/en/quotes/new
Instead, users prefer nicer interfaces: http://www.angelfire.com/super/badwebs/main.htm
