Lonehill! URGENT PLEASE! :D

Hi guys!

As you know ive posted a couple of things about getting a few MSAN's in Lonehill, or getting routed through the one on the corner of Crestwood and Franschoek Drive, well I made some calls and if I get enough people who live in Lonehill and have terrible ADSL or want 10mb to report this issue (of wanting MSAN) under 120ARK180113 (fault number) , the guy said there is a high chance of them doing so!

Please guys whoever lives in Lonehill area!

I would really appreciate it, and we would all get something out of it...

It's been to long, now is the time! Otherwise I and some others will be stuck under 3mb for the rest of there time is this amazing area :D

Hey,

I also live in lonehill and have tried pretty much everything, Telkom will just not come to the party, I see that your fault is closed, should I open a new one and reference yours? btw i'm lucky if I get 1.5Mbps
 
Yes please! Telkom came out recently and 'fixed it'... I'm now at 2.2mbps

I checked the call ref and it shows that the exchange you on supports 10MB :wtf:

Are you far from the exchange?

Also it shows your line syncing at 2144kbps, not 4096...
Have they recreated the port for you?

It's the distance from the exchange, I dont know why we arent on adsl2+, my modem is on multimode and if I put it into manual adsl2+ it won't sync... They sad thing is Keegan, we have an MSAN like 2 minutes or 1km away from where I stay, and nothing is been done about it... I'm sitting on 62db attenuation!

ADSL2+ is more unstable than G.DMT. I'd suggest you stick with it unless you have great SNR then go for ADSL2+

Sorry man, that sucks, the only other thing I can think off is if you can cancel your line and apply for a new one.
If you can go that route.
