long range wireless video equipment

anyone here know anything or where to buy long range video transmission Tx & Rx equipment in the range of 1.2km - 5km / 1.2Ghz frequency? camera & Tx must be miniature in size. this is for Radio Control aircraft.

I was watching the tour yesterday, and I had a thought. If your wireless cameras are transmitting digitally, you need a real short handshake, cause you need to re-handshake every time you drop the link. Maybe analogue is better.

Also, why 1.2 GHz?

Edit: I came to this conclusion because I just wanted to use the video as a viewfinder for a point and shoot still camera. If you actually want to record video, maybe you should do the same; record it on-board, and just use the transmission as a viewfinder.

I can get a FPV system complete for R10k. that system works on 1.2Ghz / 500mw. some work on 900hz some on 2.4Ghz. My RC Tx & Rx works on 2.4Ghz so I can't use that for the video's Tx & Rx. just trying to source a cheaper system. I don't want to record I'm using it to actually fly the plane as in First Person View. must be in real time!
