Yes, if only a percentage of the 10 million diverse inclusive rural listeners paid their licence fees there wouldn't be a problem..
And..
If only a percentage of the programming was reasonable the advertising income that would arise considering the enoumous reach, would completely overfund the sabc and they could then also all buy new mercedes benz cars as well as pay extortionate salaries and cater for corruption activities, all without the big bad old racist apartheid govt of the 1930 being blamed for their current problems.
But then on second thoughts, with all the DEI, specially the white ethnicity section, and the white inclusion section, they could have a couple of apartheid whites run it, just like they used to, all at a profit.. Racist bigoted apartheid Propaganda and all!
Now there's a thought.

Gosh, I'm humiliating that bad old apartment.. Sorry apartheid (my bad), those horrible old whiteys just couldn't get anything write.. Much better now though, runs so smoothly, so does the cash, in one side and and out the other faster than you can blink.. Those aparty whites used to hold on to it for dear life and use it to broadcast propaganda, something the anc govt would never do.. But let me not wax on about the bad bad apartheid whites..

I don't know if they didn't get anything write. Perhaps you meant right?

We can say that apartheid was bad and that the ANC are also bad. Those two statements are not mutually exclusive. See how that works?

I assume that you are getting all wound up because of the line in the article that says that the Sabc was used as a propaganda tool by the Nats. Do you disagree with that statement?
 
If Franz wants it he can pay for it. The rest of us are not paying for something we don't use.

I was being writefully sarcastic here. Your second paragraph works mutuality inclusively for me. I also agree with your third statement.. However, not wound up at all, 30years down the line, I really couldn't give a shxt what they do or not next, honestly!

I don't understand what you mean by works 'mutuality inclusively'. Was that a typo?
 
The SABC remains a propaganda mouthpiece and anyone who says otherwise will lie about other things too. This is why the vast majority of the individuals who count,... i.e. those that actually have the money to pay refuse to do so. There is no majority, any group is simply made up of individuals and individual rights, there is no power greater than individual rights.

You are quite correct, I do care / am annoyed that everything is / gets worse currently.. And yes those same things / life was much better for everyone previously.. So yes, apartheid was great if that what you want to call it.. I would just say that the previous government was much better at building and maintaining all facilities for all people than the current government.

If you think that everything was better then perhaps you aren't aware of all the non white people who are attending schools, owning property and using various facilities that were previously restricted to whites only. Are those people worse off? Because I am one of them.

They were a complete abomination to be clear. Yes they could build railroads. They could also ban you from places based on the color of your skin
