Long wait for learners licence test

Anyone know of a way to write the test earlier than the date you got booked for?

If you have time what you can do is go to the place and wait around on the days of the tests. Then if someone doesnt show up they allow people to fill the places.

I phoned the place I booked at, and the lady said they dont allow this...?

Try hillstar traffic 021 799 5100 or check with goodwood traffic

Hillstar = 2 months, Goodwood about 6 weeks

And before someone suggests another department in the CT area, they are all booked into mid June, early July

I know the City of Cape Town has an updated list of approximate waiting times for drivers license test at various testing centers. I'm not sure if they do the same for learners license though

I know it is (I've got my drivers), the only half tricky section is the one with road signs that are never used in real life

I still don't understand why you need to do the learners again if you want a bike licence

Go there. Its probably 3 to 4 weeks - I know someoen who booked there last week and is writing in two weeks' time.

Quick question, say someone's learners expire in June. He makes an appointment for driver's today, but only gets a spot in July, would they allow him to do the test?
