Hmmm... if memory serves me, you and Wizdumb are overdue @ my plek for a GH:WT session already. You can come jam when you bring me yer pedal to fix :p
 
Is it possible to hook up something like a Roland TD-3KW or Yamaha DTXpress kit to a PS3 to play Guitar Hero or Rock Band?

I am considering buying a cheapish entry-level electronic drumkit on gumtree just for fun. I taught myself some basic drumming a couple of years back when I still had access to a drumkit. I am not very good, but I quite enjoy a bit of drumming.

If I could also hook up to the PS3 it would be awesome.

I know that on the xbox version, a MIDI drum kit can be connected to the xbox's drum kit control unit.
 
Isnt there an cheat that automates the pedal in WT?

Well its alot cheaper than repairing a broken pedal, not to mention it makes learning easier on the drums. A friend on occasion forgets his pedal when he brings the whole WT set of instruments, the cheat doesnt ruin gameplay. Imo its the same as the all songs cheat... As an expert GH player do you really want to sit through the career playing every song?

Not playing with the pedal would make drumming a lot less fun IMO.

I agree 100%, on easy/medium you have to play with it, but learning hard/expert it becomes a little too faster... I'm still learning the drums :o
 
But thats the whole idea of a game...... ur supposed to master the game.
Practise practise and more practise. If you still struggle with the rythem on meduim then you have "2 left feet" and not naturally talented to play music..... :P

True, I'm stuck on hard on drums :p I've got the rhythm down, but the pedal comes along on screws everything up, I just need more practise, and the cheat lessens the learning curve from medium -> hard
