Looking at buying a Xbox360?

They are sold out, I called this morning and they told me they had none left!

You might be able to get Game or Makro honour that price - if you're lucky. I read on xbox360 forums that they only had 5 total at that price.
 
Yeah, sold out... they prolly had 2 at that price and sold out 8 mins after opening...
 
That advertising is kinda misleading innit? Very good price though. Sucks:mad:
 
I just heard LL or IC, not sure which also has a more typical special:

Pro + extra Wireless controller + Forza 2 - R3999

That's unconfirmed though.

If you feel strongly that the revised title doesnt aptly describe the subject matter then I'll gladly change it back.

I think looking at price tags for consoles you can bracket a population demographics best suitable for it most of the time.

Teenagers will seldom fork out an excess of R4000 if they could find better things to do with it.
 
arnt Game supposed to beat any advertised price..? That used to be their policy as i recall.

EDIT * found this price guarentee on the Game website (the pink hurts my eyes)

Seriously though its going to be the Xbox. PS3 is over priced. NOt enough decent Blu-Ray titles availble and really shoddy games for PS3 at the moment. I havent actually bought it yet but its a question of time and waiting for the right deal (this Dion one is not too bad actually)

Forza and GoW was the clincher for me :D Forza looked as good as I expected Gran Turismo to look and its out now and not some possible time in the future
