Jokes aside (as I know people who don't know what BJJ is, will make them).

Does anyone in the Southern Suburbs need a sparring partner? I'm looking for someone to practice BJJ with as sometimes I feel the time in the grappling gym, isn't enough or goes by too fast etc.

I feel my ground game would really benefit if I trained more. Anyone interested? I'm based in Observatory and i'm free to train in the evenings / weekends. I'm a lowly white belt with some previous BJJ experience and a few years in Wing Chun for stand up.

Thanks,
J

Jokes NOT aside - what is BJJ if you don't want people to joke about it?

Brazilian jiu-jitsu

I only know this because a friend of mine is a massive fan of the Gracies.

Eh, Been doing it in the Northern Suburbs for the last few months.

Have you seen or used their Gracie Combativies Blue Belt DVD box set? It seems quite useful for recapping on actual lessons - however I do not like the idea of a mail order blue belt. I use it to refresh what i've learnt in class.

I've got the Gracie Combatives video set, I need a sparring partner to practice my techniques. I stay in the city center

If you where Northern suburbs it might have worked although I don't have a backyard sadly.

Still looking for a training partner? I've got a few years BJJ under my belt and I'm badass at winchun ;) Also some boxing and Muay-tai. There's a new boxing gym I train at in Claremont called Gerries. It's pretty cool and cheap.
