Looking for a decent portable projector.

'kay, so the Powers That Be (TM) have sent me on a grand quest to find a projector for smallish presentations, doesn't have to be the brightest bulb in the pack (cough), nor does it have to sparkle. Entry level is fine, just needs to cater for a small audience, for basic presentations/slide shows, not movies/games, needs to plug into laptop via DSUB VGA.

I was looking at the Sony VPL-EX5. R7k is kinda the max budget. I'd like to stay away from brands like Acer and HP, though.

Any suggestions?
