Well not even a year has gone by and my coolermaster storm mouse has gone faulty and eventually died on me. I'm looking for a wireless replacement, in the region of R500 or so.
Recommendations are welcome!

Thanks

PS: first time buying wireless, so i'm not sure which makes are rubbish etc.

For PC or laptop? My laptop mouse has had one battery swap in two years... and I use it daily for more than 8 hours... Logitech Nano or something like that.

No guarantee? Same happened to me and I got sent a new one.

Well the product is discontinued, so i'm not sure they can swap it out. What pisses me off is that when I opened this thing up, I could clearly see it was a refurbished model. It was worn on the little pads underneath and the sticker around the laser was damaged. wasn't bothered to replace it with all the fuss you get at take2, i'm now regretting it though.

Is this the CM Sentinel Advance 5600dpi? I changed mine about a week ago, Take2 picked it up from me at work and delivered a new one in 2 weeks.

Yeah thats it. Whats the warranty on it tho? mines just under a year old.

I've had mine since July. Use the tool on the Take2 website its under your account somewhere (can't link while at work), if its out of warranty I'm sure they will let you know.

I recommend this - http://www.logitech.com/en-za/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5846 - a solid mouse, wireless and I am extremely happy with it.

I've got a Logitech nano ... works great. Probably in use 8-10 hours per day min, and the battery lasts around 1-2 months. I use rechargeables ... it's small and comfortable.

I had a MS one, but that stopped working after about a year ... the left mouse click gave up.

Thats a pretty decent looking mouse! Nice price too, thanks.

Well they accepted the returns request; going to see what happens next.
