I got a water irrigation system. Sometimes we don't have water, and when we are away, and see on the groups that the water is off, want to switch off the irrigation. I currently use a switch that is connected at the rain sensor. So I want to place a smart switch here, to give a dry contact, or operate a 220vac relay. I want to operate this from anywhere.
I was thinking of a water pressure switch but so far could not find one.

Surely a flow sensor should work?

On the link that @Tinuva send, the person cut the relay contacts in order to make them a dry contact.

May i ask 2 questions. Say the switch is "on" before load shedding, after power restores , what happen to the switch.
And I bought a geyser timer which work on smart life app. If I by a device from say Geewiz, haw do I know if this switch support on smartlife app, or do some of you use different apps, for a house.

I use Sonoff Basics for my irrigation. It doesn't know when the water is off, though. They're just timers. But can be used to switch off remotely.

The cbi astute relay should work. You need to connect the 220V to the relay and wire the power for the irrigation via the dry contact.

There should be a power-on state you can set in settings. Set it to Last-state, ON or OFF when power resumes.

Sonoff produts use the eWeLink app. Your more generic "Tuya" devices use smart life.
