Looking for a high end pre-build desktop

Hi all,

I know its better to buy the components yourself, but helping someone out who is not pc literate. They looking for a high end pc, pre-built and no real limit on price. I dont want to build up a pc for them, as Im not keen to get involved except to recommend places that sell what they looking for.

They want to go the i7 Intel route, and would like a graphics card, so I assume it will be a jack of all trades pc (work, gaming etc). The only one I found decent enough is the warrior PC from PCInt. Looking only for places in Jhb region.

Anyone know of other suppliers that have pre-built high end desktops? :confused:
 
Prophecy will build the PC for you (for a fee). That would be my recommendation since then you are 100% sure they are putting a decent mobo/RAM/PSU in the rig which is what these pre built machine usually skimp on.

If you don't want to always be there to help them out then get a high end Dell PC.

Prob a good idea...I dont want to spend time on this for someone I dont really know well etc. Maybe I should tell the person I will do it for a fee?

We dont know you either and we dont charge anything :p

Basically he can go i7 2600k (LGA1155) or i7 930 (LGA1336)
Now pick a mobo with the right socket at around R2500 (since he has no budget)
Slap on 4-8GB RAM at 1.5V
Random large HDD, add in 60-120GB SSD
Corsair PSU ±750W
Case he must choose since peoples taste differ wildly
GPU he can get a HD6970, HD6990, or GTX580

Done. Thats wasnt so hard ;)
