It's important to differentiate: My company is currently looking for developers who are indifferent to software development. Specifically, we are looking for someone that can quit at any minute and join a farming commune in Utah. The ideal candidate will have 40 years experience, and enough financial independence and life baggage to make success in this job insignificant and irrelevant.

Checking few enough? Not a problem as I typically check none! In fact, I create additional work for other people through my inaction and by ruining timeliness. I like to think I do my bit for job creation.
