Looking for a new Sony A-900

There's a couple hanging around on Amazon.com, but for those prices ($1200) you can get the a77 model and get better fps and features.

I have a A37 nice little camera, weren't very fond of the electronic viewfinder but I got used to it comming from an A200.
Would love something like the A77, but the price is too steep for me.

How do you find the digital viewfinder? I think the concern is that the view seen on it differs from PC screen output. In the past Mac was preferred for DTP as the printed image resembled what was created on the screen better than PC. Switching to digital viewfinders seems something similar. If the viewfinder matches the colour of a screen display, for editing, it should be fine but if the scene, viewfinder and PC screen all differ in colour then it can be a problem.

The viewfinder is okay once you get used to it. At first it seemed that the colours are richer in the viewfinder than what it actually is, but after a while I noticed that colour representation is quite good in the viewfinder.
One other minor thing is the fact that there is a 1 to 2 second delay when switching from the rear LCD to the viewfinder.
My only advice is to go to your nearest dealer and check them out.

Remember the A37 uses a different electronic viewfinder to the A77 and the A99 as both of those are considered "flagship" models and are suited towards the pros who demand quality with price not being a leading factor in the production plan
I've heard from fellow Sony users that it takes a while to get used to the richness of the colours, but they've said once you start to enjoy it, you'll never go back

In answer to the main question, try phoning Kameraz to see if they've got a clue, failing that, bidorbuy is your best option
